The meeting was agreed during a recent visit to Great Britain by a delegation from Slovakia&#8217;s Judicial Council.\r\n\r\n&#8220;We are the first among the central and east European countries to have been accepted by Great Britain at this level. Lord [Justice] Thomas considers Slovakia&#8217;s Judicial Council a significant body for the development of a democratic judicial system. It is fully accepted by judicial councils within the EU,&#8221; \u0160tefan Harabin said after the meeting.\r\n\r\nDuring their visit to Great Britain delegation members met Justice Academy Director Judge Philips. They negotiated options for cooperation in the process of educating judges and modernizing their education.
